The lesson I'm learning here is that you should NEVER ever diet and just eat whatever you want

you and others are still in the the stone age if you believe in calories in and calories out.

nothing what i have wrote in this topic is false. i continue to write back and forth like an idiot on the internet in situations like this.

If the calorie in / calorie out rule has been disproven by anyone then they deserve nothing less than the Nobel Prize for Physics without the slightest bit of exaggeration, because they would have successfuly managed to dismantle the entirety of how the human race understand energy to work. You would be in essence asserting that the fundamental rules of thermodynamics don't apply to the human body.

No, the calorie in / calorie out rule has not been disproven. It has been vastly misunderstood, because 1) everyone incorrectly asserts that the calorie out side of the equation is static and that 2) they persist that energy is perfectly transferred when we know that's precisely not the case), but no - no one has disproven the idea that calories in / calories out doesn't still work. At best they've been able to show that it's not at all easy or predictable to calculate because of so many variables.

the calorie in calorie out rule is not true and has been disproven as something to follow thats why.

This is how to perfectly encapsulate why no one should take you seriously on this topic at all

I wouldn't advise following celebrity fitness programs for a variety of reasons but there's no reason to be skeptical of this unless you have an unlikely condition.

Hugh was on quite a bit of steroids anytime he trained for Wolverine. I ain't mad at him because it's his job but he is not one to compare yourself against.

his ability to go from Starvin' Marvin in Les Mes to a yolked Wolverine in only a few months doesn't make you raise an eyebrow?

No.

Brad Pitt was 155 for Fight Club and looked huge.

Hugh Jackman looks ripped af but nothing that screams mutant ped status, the modest DL backs that up

insane aesthetics doesn't have to mean superhuman strength. He just has to look the part. Not necessarily deadlift a car. I think he had a little help in his training. He did reach out to the Rock supposedly when training for The Wolverine and Days of Future Past. Hey god bless him though. I would love to look like Hugh Jackman at some point.

My doctor said it was a bad idea when I brought it up with him. Being more active and watching what you eat is a much better idea.
Unless you are NEET who never goes outside, it's going to cause you major energy issues mareep

My boss does intermittent fasting and hes in amazing shape and doesnt have energy issues considering he does Spartan runs.

if you do intermittent fasting or low carb for long periods of time like 6 months to a year the only reason why the person can be feeling great is because they are running on adrenaline and cortisol. after that is where their health starts to fail unless they stop what they are doing.

I mean the guy is a chef so he makes almost all of his food and normally makes big portions. Goes to the gym regularly too, unless he has his kids.

Third day in. It hasn't been too bad. I get hungry as fuck at night by around 8-9 but I just sleep it off and feel better in the morning. Then get hungry but savor my first meal at 9AM.
