fire_bolt 06/25/18 11:10:31 PM #14:	Darkest Dungeon isn't hard, it just brutally punishes mistakes. The learning curve is high but not really worse than SMT (and with no bullshit insta-death). Expect to get your ass kicked for a few hours and then you should be ok. The game is brutal but fair, very rarely does something go catastrophic and it not be your fault (that wasn't true when the game was in Early Access but the devs got it right before final release). Crimson Court DLC almost doubles the size of the game. It also makes an already punishing game even more punishing while also adding some extremely powerful options for players to invest time and effort in. Highly recommend it but don't enable it until you've got your feet under you. Color Of Madness adds some content but not much and it's almost all late game. Suggest getting it and ignoring it until you're comfortable with the game. Shield bearer DLC adds a new Hero class to the game. I don't feel it's really worthwhile, should really just be included in the base game tbh. --- Watch me stream!
