What disturbs me is how eerily close to Stalin or Hitler these sorts of tactics are. I'm always the first one to say that Trump is nothing like Hitler, and that the comparison is unfair because they are two radically different people, combating radically different problems, with radically different outcomes.

However, demonizing the press as a form of censorship and sewing seeds of distrust with any whistle blowers or even anyone who raises legitimate questions about your leadership is a very tyrannical thing to do. You add that to the constant threats to bypass due process and legal procedure, and you've got the makings of a tyrannical fascist government.

What disturbs me is how places calling themselves news organizations don't have any obligation, morally or by law, to have to tell the truth.

When these organizations attempt to make someone look bad by showing them dump fish food into a pond and talk about how disgraceful that was, after cutting video of someone from that culture doing it moments before; that should concern people.

When a campaign pays millions of dollars to fabricate a dossier and have the news report these fabrications as fact; that should concern people.

When these organizations refuse to report on the almost 80,000 illegal immigrant children that went missing under "their" president, but raise hell about 2,000 illegal immigrant children being kept separate from those they came with as actual familial relations haven't been confirmed; that should concern people.

I could go on, but just talking to a wall.

He posed for selfies, first with a kind woman who genuinely seemed to want one, and then with others who appeared more eager to share the moments ironically on social media.

Then something even stranger happened: Acosta began signing autographs. A slip of paper here, a campaign sign there. Even the bill of one Make America Great Again hat. Eventually one of his most persistent hecklers a young man with a long scruffy beard, wearing a MAGA cap backwards and a MAGA flag as a cape engaged Acosta in a friendly conversation. By the end of the exchange, the Trump fan was begging Acosta for an on-air shoutout.

I think it helps calm them down, Acosta replied when asked why he indulged the same people who had been jeering him. If I were to say no, it could make it more venomous.

The real reason why Trump holds these rallies is to make sure the American people are actually getting accurate information because the the liberal media is lying through their teeth about him on a daily basis. If CNN and other liberal outlets are sick of seeing Trump rallies, all they have to do is start doing fair and accurate journalism and then he'll have no reason to do them anymore. They're the the ones with all the power in this situation.
