Yeah. But it also means your stamina depletes slightly faster.

Regardless, bbw arisen for life. Eventually you'll travel light when you explore the dlc area.

90% chance that you've already passed at least one point of no return for a few quest lines. It's a pretty brutal game that's even worse than the tales series with "if you even talk to these people but don't advance the quest you still canceled all those quests" at least once every 3 main story quests.

*laughs* the moment you got the scene that opens the quest to go there, that is, for grabbing the hydra head? You missed out on a quest line to rescue your cousin or whatever from the witch's abode, as well as a good chunk of the main plot and world building. Also all associated side quests that are related to that location.

Seriously. This game has some major issues which is why I get it not having a sequel or related game over a decade later. Gameplay is good and a reasonable formula of difficulty and predictability for the most part when you get used to it. But the story and romance options get destroyed by all the missable content.

Ah. Keep doing side quests around the starting village until you find your cousin has gone missing and follow that one. It's hard but nice rewards. Like plot.

Well, any advice is helpful. I did make my character a bit bulkier than I otherwise would. I'm not sure what unit of measurement they're using but I think she's 70 of it.

I am working on the sidequests in the town, I tend to be quite thorough.

So stats are determined by whatever class you are as you level up. 1-10 is locked in the one you start as, reach the main city hub to get the upgraded ones and mixed ones as well though I can't remember if you have to unlock them.

11-100 has bigger gains than 101-200 (cap). So if you want good stamina and HP and magic you'll ideally want to swap around at certain intervals. If you can beat the super bosses though you'll be fine and can farm for items (slowly) and upgrade them and that'll make up for most of the reduced stats.

End game for super bosses typically is one of three strategies

Ranged, attack from a place they can't hit you, move so you can get close to knock them down when you know it's coming (usually by destroying limbs), punish point blank with your strongest stuff, spam stamina restore items throughout then run

Close, punish them and break limbs, knock them down, spam your strongest stuff

Literally clinging to their ass for a million years and stabbing them with a dagger till they die, getting knocked off occasionally of course

And the strongest super boss is literally just the last one but for ten trillion years

Don't take a habit of calling over your pawn or asking it to heal you, it gives it a crappy incli ation. You CAN change them or tweak them at some point, forgot when though.

Get friends for free pawns rents, join any "Rent & be rented" groups. Reddit, GFAQs, etc.

Assuming the game is still alive community wise, if a rented pawn happens to die by falling of off a cliff or something equally insta-kill, be kind & re-rent & send back with a 4-5 star rating &/or a gift. It was common courtesy way back when.

Send PM if ya want my steam id for rents, though my pawn might possibly be OPish comparatively. I can give yours a tour of the countryside.

Excuse me @solosnake This ending doesn't sound happy, I only just looked into it since you were trying so hard and I got excited and trusted you. In fact the more I learn about it, the more downright depressing it gets. I can't handle this right now. An endless cycle of killing yourself?! I HATE this game!!! No no no NO why would anyone recommend this to me?! I'm just gonna go curl up in a ball now and try not to let my panic attack escalate since I needed some comfort food and instead I've been fed poison.

I'll be honest with you. I havent beaten the game yet, and hadnt really paid much attention to the story, because it didnt seem very good. I had no idea about any of that stuff, and I am sorry. I really thought that it was a good game for you :(

I honestly might since I don't think I can stand to see it in my game list.

I spent a lot of time trying to get the character creation so I dunno if they would.

HIMYM kinda broke me and my tolerance for anything bittersweet, and now recently something else tragic in something else I've been following for years happened and it broke me the rest of the way, since I don't really recover from things, only get to a point where I'm not thinking about it all the time.

you don't kill yourself. Well, you, the player, do. But generations pass between arisen appearing, and they're always beckoned by the return of the dragon. But it preserves the order of their world.

I'd say the best part though is that your pawn does become human, fully and truly, by exceeding the limits that people believed separated the two species.
