i don't think people in a lot of rural states understand that their existence relies on subsidies provided by better-performing state economies

For me, it was never about Big / Small Federal Government.

It was about "Effective / Functioning / Non-Corrupt Federal Government"

So size doesn't matter to me.

In fact, I would be considered a "Federalist" by old standards.

We need to split the States into smaller more manageable pieces and fix the corruption.

The Federal Government needs to be stronger and have more "Federal ONLY" and Nation Wide laws that can't be perverted by State / Legislative Representative means for self serving purposes.
