Solid game, amazing visuals, but I don't get all the perfect scores. I've gotten more hours out of Yakuza 0. I thought God of War 3 was more fun, tbh

I finished God of War and just started Yakuza 0. Both are really solid games but really different. I can't see why we can't enjoy both.

No is not, Yakuza 6 is more fun fighting NJPW wrestlers in the streets

Yakuza o is BORING as a game but the story is SOLID.

I haven't played Yakuza 6, but if it's better than Yakuza 0 (which is awesome) than that is good to know

I do. I just used the Yakuza 0 comparison for perspective.

it was very fun but super disappointing in terms of boss fights. That's why I play God of War games. How did they think fighting generic trolls throughout the whole game was a good idea?

yup, you'd think that with all the dark souls inspiration the devs took that they'd realize how important bosses are, but instead you get "giant troll with big club" 100 times and that godawful dragon boss battle where you have to throw the rocks at it

Yeah that's about my only complaint. Even the Hell Guardian I was like, "oh...it's just a troll that teleports. Lame." Everything else was fantastic.

It's funny because prior to GoW3, the games ALWAYS had few boss fights.

Literally 3 in GoW1,
Collosus, B.King, Kraken, Sisters in GoW2.

I didn't necessarily mind the lack of boss fights, I just hated how some of them have waves of normal enemies to make them more frustrating

something im surprised a lot of reviewers didnt pick up on for GoW4 is how empty the world feels.

the whole game is about setting up this Norse world, building it up, revealing lore, etc but the world doesnt feel real at all. it's just a bunch of wooded and snowy areas that are connected.

nothing feels lived in, there's no towns or cities, there's no houses besides kratos' shack and the witch. honestly there's like 5 or 6 characters in the entire game, two are the plot device dwarves that felt like drebin from MGS4, etc. i found it really hard to care about the greater struggle at all

I like to believe it's just the outskirts of civilization considering Kratos wanted to go into hiding. Maybe in future games we'll get to see more people.

im actually playing Uncharted Remastered Collection and in the middle of Uncharted 2. whoa what a timing for this topic. It's really detailed and gorgeous and fun all around. Cover shooters are kinda whatever in general but Uncharted makes it look good.

I don't know about the new GoW - im planning to play it sometime this summer.

I'm playing through GoW right now and I'm loving it tbh. Probably my 2nd fav PS4 game behind Bloodborne. It's perfectly reinvigorates the franchise.
