On and off from launch until ~8 months into WotLK (July 2009). It was fun, but then I drifted away from it and haven't particularly felt any desire to go back. I did cash in a free week in January 2010 and was reasonably entertained for that week, but that was it.

Back in secondary school I think, trying it out on a free server I think and quickly realizing I did not really like it.

I used to play alot. I was thinking of getting back in, but I need to figure out some issues with my internet connection. I am playing the free trial version as a test to see if it works properly before I resubscribe.

basically I sometimes lose connection to my wifi. I got a cable now going to my modem directly to see if that fixes it. cause I still don't know if its an issue with my router, or my actual modem.

I played a demo like 10 years ago. It wasn't good.

No, when it first came out I had no way to pay for a subscription, by the time I had a credit card/subscription cards were wide spread I just didnt want to bother with it.

Naxramas is the only dungeon worth doing.

Subscription based pay was a huge turn-off, and I never thought the game looked all that fun.

interesting history with World of warcraft for me I guess but overall I was never really that interested in it.
I think the early days I started playing a little bit and one day someone gave me a lot of in game money for no reason.
A few days later I got banned? They said I purchased money and I didn't but I never saw any reason to ever fight it as I just wasn't interested in the game.

I think when one of the expansion packs came out I decided to just give it another go and it seems my previous account was no longer banned. But I still just wasn't interested in the game so No I haven't been playing for a long time.

when it comes to MMORPG's the only one that got me was Maple Story but I lost interest in it. The hackers were the ones who started to ruin that game for me I think.

I refuse to pay a subscription service to play a game.

I don't get on well with WoW cause I have the mindset of playing through as much of the old, original content as I can before moving on to the newer stuff. But not a whole lot of people are interested in doing that and the leveling process is so sped up that I feel like I'm wasting time in certain areas cause I'll move to a new area and already outlevel it by 5 levels when I get there.

Artifacts were cool at first, but became a huge grind, now its given away for free...
Legion was alot better then WoD though.
Classic should be fun though, be kinda nice doing that stuff again.

I played through WotLK, took a break, came back for Cata and Panderia and then quit for good. It just ate up way too much time, and I didn't even raid hardcore

I made a human Hunter and a undead warlock. To solo on each side. I've never raided before and play pretty causually so I probably won't even be ready by the time the expansion is out. But thanks

Hadnt played since my friend convinced me to RaF boost his character on an alt account in MoP. It was pretty fun.

I came back to do Project 70. A bunch of people decided they wanted to pretend the max was 70. So we capped at 70, banned heirlooms, wotlk gear and dungeon finder. Raids were also limited to 9 people. It was really fun.

I ended up going ham on Legion and fully gearing a fury warrior. I cleared heroic through PuGs but never got to do mythic cause my guild wasnt into it. Had to quit cause of wrapping up college.

Legion was pretty fun to be honest.

WotlK was the best moment the game was ever in IMO. I quit shortly after Cataclysm launched and moved to Lineage II.

@PuddingBoypud it might be more your style now. They recently changed the leveling experience so that certain parts scale up to certain levels. Vanilla scales to like level 60. Burning crusade and wotlk scale to 80 etc. Now you can do areas without feeling like you're just rolling through everything too quickly. Areas still have a level floor though so you can't roll through the burning steppes at level 5.

I might have to look into it. I might be spoiled by FF14's storytelling now but I'd love to give WoW another shot.
