Is there anyone you do consider an extreme liberal?

Not quite as extreme as I'd expect, but I'd imagine I'm picking up some lefty dictator points from questions where I answered in a way I know will get a misleading result because I feel it's the right response to the question as written, just not the question as intended.

I didn't know I talked politics here enough for anyone to have a guess at where I'd fall!

Honestly a lot of the questions are worded in a way where you could reasonably answer anything depending on you look at it. I've done this test a few times over the years and I get noticeably different results, depends on what kind of mood I'm in as to how I handle certain questions that I don't feel a simple "agree/disagree" really allows for a proper answer to.

If you check back to 2008/2012 they basically have Barack Obama almost identical to where Trump is.

Their analysis (the actual write ups) is truly bizarre, too.

That is why my results differ, but it establishes a barometer of where you normally are.

For example, last time I answered companies only goal is to deliver results to shareholders at strongly agree. Today I put "disagree".

But, most people have a range of where they fall.

You sure you are reading that right? In 2008 he was upper right but nowhere near Trump at all. In 2012 he is almost identical to hillary not Trump.

Oh, Corrik is right, thank you.

In 2008 in was pretty close to center. In 2012 he is high in the upper right, close to where both Hillary (and Trump) are. Hillary is in the upper right both in 2008 and 2016.

The commentary also rails against the uniparty and how both parties are the same and how Bernie betrayed his ideals etc etc etc. It sounds like a far left unhinged rant. Or maybe a far right unhinged rant? I have a hard time discerning between those two at times for some reason.

Most people think the democrats and Republicans pick a couple different arguing points but the establishment are all in the same quadrant politically.

Bernie was the first truly liberal they have trotted out and why the establishment was very against him being chosen.

I don't think they scored the candidates right, though. According to this I am way to the left of Bernie, while listening to his propositions I always thought he was to the left of me. Meanwhile Obama and Hillary are basically republicans while there are plenty of differences between them and say, even someone like Jeb!

I do think its score of me is fairly accurate, but I question how they plopped in these candidates on the way they did.

They can't really add guns as it is international and that isn't an international issue. Which would move them some.

They are scoring them on their speeches and voting record when no speeches talk about it.

Like for example, almost every Dem says they think abortion is wrong but think others should have the right to choose if they wish to.

This probably leads them an agree it is immoral point instead of their supporters who say strongly disagree.

Seems pretty clear that they have an agenda to convince most people that they're far to the left of both US political parties. The placements of the Democratic candidates are just straight up ridiculous.

I think you just refuse to see that the Democratic and Republicans are generally offering up close to the same candidates with any really differentiation.

Bernie was placed to the left, and he was the biggest liberal candidate.

If I linked you to neogafs you see a more scattered result tho most are bottom left.

No, the page where they claim to be giving candidate placements is just straight up biased as fuck. Like, read this paragraph:

Sanders now unequivocally supports the Democratic nominee, yet his positions are actually far closer to those of Jill Stein, leader of the Greens. The party that Bernie barely belongs to is apparently more important than the principles that hes passionately espoused for so long. In the twilight of his political career Sanders might have taken a bolder move than merely conforming to the expectations of ideologically arthritic liberals who will settle for a lesser-of-two-evils electoral exercise, as they have done for decades. Instead Sanders wants to rally his impressive legion of supporters behind a candidate representing the very things that theyve been consistently revolting against! Was he so terrified by the prospect of a Trump presidency that he dumped the chance to strike a real blow against the one percent by joining Stein and launching the most formidable third party challenge in decades? Or might he have been a Judas sheep all along? Clinton can now be expected to toss a few crumbs to the Sandernistas in an attempt to prevent them bolting to the Greens. Whatever she says about issues like the minimum wage, the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, fracking and Medicare between now and November is unlikely to be honoured in office. Even if she wanted to break the habit of a career and significantly swing towards the 99 percent, her donors like Walmart, McDonalds, Wall Street and so many others simply wouldnt permit it.

Many Bernie Sanders supporters chose not to vote and called him out for being a hypocrite when he supported Clinton.

Is there specific passages you are referring to?

The author of the page suggests that Sanders might be a "Judas" for endorsing Clinton instead of Jill Stein. They call Clinton "hawkish pin-up girl of Wall Street." They suggest that Trump would be better for progressives than Clinton:
Thinking progressives, however, might reflect on the uncomfortable truth that a President Trump would be relentlessly scrutinised, criticised and checked not only by the Democrats, but also by many in his own party. Conversely, a Democratic president, ultimately more different in style than substance, would implement a largely Republican agenda in all but name and get a relatively easy ride. Havent the last eight years of neo-conservatism and Democratic deference brought the country too close already to a one-party state masquerading as a two-party state?

This is a person making a (very poor) political argument. That is not something you would attach to a good-faith effort to score candidates.

I want the government to help those who cant help themselves, and for everyone else it should leave them 100% alone.
