This is a problem that many of us are facing right now. Everybody wants to live in an expensive coastal city, but the cost of living is ridiculous. Like you could be working 60 hours a week just so you can afford the rent for your $1800/month cockroach-infested closet that you're sharing with three other roommates. But you get to live in the city! Or you could be living in a Trump-voting state in the middle of nowhere. $150,000 buys you a mansion, and you have the time and money to be playing video games to your heart's content.

What are your priorities? Lots of CE makes fun of people for living in flyover states, which is odd when lots of CE would prefer to play video games and play around on the internet with all their free time. But is living in that expensive coastal city worth it, or are you better off living somewhere that doesn't cost your entire paycheck?
