Not only do they drive a BMW/Merc/Maserati/Porsche, but they also dress in expensive clothing all while wearing $300+ shoes.

.....

So Why are the hardworking people paying taxes for these kinds of people again?

In some cases, it's that they had a good job in the past or inherited the vehicle; especially in the case of those who haven't been on welfare for long and will likely get off it the second they can. But in a lot of cases, it's either outright welfare fraud, or that they're putting their welfare money towards luxuries to the detriment of the essentials it's meant to cover.

When I applied for welfare I was told I couldn't get it specifically *because* I didn't have enough debt since I paid off my car.

Basically, if I then went out and got a car note, they would have subtracted that from what I make and then I would have hit the poverty level to be approved for it. Or at least that's what it sounded like.

The biggest bullshit was that they wouldn't count my medical debt since they claimed if I didn't pay it it wouldn't effect my credit. (which, they were right and I just started paying the very basic minimum amount so I didn't need welfare after that)

So Why aren't they cracking down those on welfare fraud? There are people out there that really need it but it's occupied by these fucking HOOD GOONS.

i know welfare counts certain assets against someone. only suggestion is to elect new representatives of congress in hope they will change the rules where having a luxury car counts against trying to apply for benefits.

It would probably cost more money to test every welfare recipient for drug use, car ownership, etc, than to just eat the cost of potentially giving money to fraudulent activity.
