You could say that about every descriptor Ive used for either group. Beastiality is way more common in the furry community, even if its still rare. This poll isnt supposed to be a thorough analysis of the morality of each group, rather which one people are personally disturbed/creeped out by more. I realize I should have worded the question differently (instead of just whats worse?) but I wasnt really trying to make this a super serious thread anyway.

Unless I'm wrong, lolis sexualize children, and that's highly unsettling. Furries, on the other hand, are quite benign. I understand that the furry fandom has its black sheep, but most see anthros as cool and have a fursona, maybe a fursuit as well. Frankly, I'd be alright being friends with a furry. If they'd start to express a desire to integrate with a real cat or something, then I'll say kthxbye.

There are things that are strangely more common in furry communities like a vastly disproportionate amount of furry males are gay compared to the population at large.

I don't have any completely sound evidence, no. However, there was a survey done back in 2008 suggesting otherwise.

And I know this is purely anecdotal but when you hang out in the more anonymous communities like those on Reddit (where everyone is using a throwaway) you get a hell of a lot more people opening up about their more immoral fetishes (including pedophilia or "cub").

Scat isn't that bad. I mean it's gross but you aren't hurting anyone as long as the people involved all want to do it. It's nowhere near as bad as wanting to have sex with children.

Guro on the other hand... if you're getting off on torturing and people in sexual ways then that is maybe worse than lolicon.

Furries are also harmless I think. Most of them aren't even into sex acts--they just like those kinds of characters.

Are you talking about bestiality in the sense of furries who also like real animals or are you talking about "feral" characters (attraction to Lion King and My Little Pony)?

All people are doing is translating the fictional being to their real world counterparts. The real world counterpart to the subject of loli fiction would be a child incapable of consenting to sex. The real world counterpart to the subject of average 2D waifu fiction would be an adult human female capable of consenting to sex. I have no idea where you're pulling the possibility of raping an "actual woman" from unless you're the kind of person who thinks that pornography causes sexual violence.

So I ask myself: "Why are we associating or correlating fiction with nonfiction?" If anything, fiction should be seen as an outlet away from the real world.
