And everybody in CA who is part of the rural area wants to secede and form it's own new State away from the Urban Hot Mess.

The Jefferson 51st State movement is one of the movements
http://soj51.org/

New California is another movement
https://www.newcaliforniastate.com/

NOBODY who is outside the big 3 Urban Cities of LA, San Francisco (and it's nearby counties), even part of San Diego and Orange county wants to be in the same state as them.

That's fine, we should be allowed to divorce and reform new state lines.

If the people aren't happy, then they should be able to make their own new state while remaining as part of the USA.

Here's how I would split CA up, into 7 states:
https://imgur.com/9VlFtCW
https://imgur.com/f8nprZs

Those Liberal Urban Cities would be isolated into City States as they should be.

No state can ever leave the Union.

We had a entire Civil War over this.

If anything, we have the fire power and military capable of Annexing Canada and adding them to the US Statehood.

Cool data there bro. No one supports those stupid succession movements.

Also as good an idea as kicking out the red states might seem, that would just put us in South Korea's position of having an insane, impoverished and possibly nuclear-armed state right next to us.

Every State in the US is a "Nuclear Armed State". And NOBODY is leaving the USA.
They're just leaving California and making their own states.

The entire US history is filled with New States being formed at various times.

There is no reason why new state lines can't be drawn and recreated given the History of the US.

CA is losing people, it always has been losing more people than it takes in.

The vast Majority of the Canadian Population lives along the US / Canada border.

Most of the Big Upper North has very little population compared to Canada's south.

Well, I included articles that factors in population growth due to births and immigration.

Even factoring the Net outwards migration, CA population growth is slowing down and going towards negative.

Honestly, the south is better than the west coast. Yeah, there are a lot more things to do on the west, but the south has better food, friendlier people, cheaper cost of living, and the idea of having a house and family isnt so far out that you cant even imagine doing it.

The only reason why the east coast is better is because they, for the most part, still have southern lifestyles but in a more modern fashion like Virginia, Carolinas, so on.

I used to blindly love California since Im from here, but after Ive been to different parts of the US the people here are just fucking weird tbh.

Live in a big populated city in the South and tell me Im wrong.

California only has 3 cities worth living in

LA: materialistic assholes that feel the need to impress people they dont know and make fun of people who arent up to the latest bullshit trend

San Francisco: Blindly liberal (Oakland is nice though, but give it a few years and it will be San librerals brother)

San Diego: Only decent place since it has the family vibe and its not too expensive.

Everywhere else is drive by scenery.

LA: it's a bit more complicated than that, but the materialism is true. I see Tesla's everywhere and can see super expensive sports cars all over the place. Name that sports car you see in a magazine, I see it on the streets every day.

SF: Yeah, mostly true.

SD: It's still expensive compared to most other places in the US outside of the big expensive cities.
