I have Thor but that's because I saved raid credits and bought him gradually from the raid store. I need 60 to get him to 4*. You need antman and wasp at 4* to earn anything other than gold which sucks.

Game is fun to play on the toilet when I take my morning dump but it feels like such a grind to get any characters at all. I get that this is the point of the game but youd think theyd at least have more accessible heroes, and everyone I play against has the same luke cage / Spider-Man / wolverine / crossbones / elektra team

It becomes much more diverse as you progress. And wolverine only really has high health going for him. He is on my team but only because I haven't picked a replacement. I would recommend against putting a lot of resources into him. Maybe we will get a character that buffs mutants or something some day and he might be better then.

Fuck it, I spent the cores. Ive been seeing Vision in most high tier blitz and arena teams. He seems like a must have.

Wolverine is a noob trap. He's not terrible, and before you really have some heavy hitters he can be a good addition to round out your team, but he hits the ceiling quickly.

Someone else mentioned his high health is all he really has and they're absolutely right. His damage output isn't great and his speed is terrible. If they make him faster over time he'd be a lot more viable, but as it stands I usually save him for last if he's on an enemy team because he just isn't a threat.

He might score a kill on an already weakened fighter with his ultimate, but by the time he gets it ready the battle's pretty much been decided.
Use him until you have a better fighter like Gamora or Deadpool but don't expect to rely on him.

what really brings wolverine down is his very low resistance to status effects, if he's with something that causes bleed/slow/blind/defense down/stun then he's in trouble

i assume he'll get better once more x-men characters come out so he'll have synergy with them

On that note I can't wait until they let you start presetting blitz teams.

I'd love to run an all Kree force with Ronan but it's such a chore when they have varying power levels to cycle through it.

Yeah I'm really not happy with the two hour thing.
I usually hit around rank 10 or so in the rewards but to hell with them if they expect me to log in every two hours for that nonsense

The Deadpool thing is killing my clan though. Most of the members live in Spain and it's not always easy to coordinate timing to such a strict scale.
We do great in the Ultimus raids but gtfo with this 2 hour raid mess

Was able to open a mega orb this morning. Got kingpin. Pretty pleased with that. He seems solid. Tons of health and a good mix of control+ protector. I should be able to unlock cap within the next few days though and he is going to be my protector, but kingpin is a solid villian protector from what I've seen.

Also the changes to 4th tier ability mats are a bit more reasonable. My group hit the 25% bracket which at the new rate would mean the ability to upgrade one ability a month.

God I hate crossbones, hes in every single blitz/arena fight because hes basically a starting character and every match is burst down crossbones before he nukes your team

So annoying, he should not be a common character because he is too cheesy

They need to stop being so stingy with gold and T3 ability materials. Ive unlocked Mordo, Black Widow, Vision, Wasp, Dr. Strange, and Cable over the past week and can barely get them leveled up.

I could do the first two levels on medium with my 4k yondu, 2k elektra, and 2k hand sorceress. But i doubt i can get much farther without powering up some more dudes. My only options for mystics are minions and iron fist. =/

I cant get past hard 6. Same as with Wasp. Nick Fury and the SHIELD minions are too brutal.

Can't beat 6 on medium as I don't have good mystics.

I can't even come close. They're all faster than me so my entire team is offense down the entire fight. Any buffs are turned to debuffs, any kills are immediately revived which also heals the rest of their team.

This game is so ridiculously unbalanced.

It's kind of sad but if the changes continue I may need to drop the game. It's ridiculous. I play it quite a lot but it doesn't matter because I wasn't part of the beta and the difficulty is based solely on the top 1% of the player base which is composed entirely of whales and beta players and no one else.

Yea I can see that, theres just too many blocks to progress and even if you wanted to drop $5 on the game the prices are too high and nothing is worth that money anyway.

To me clash of clans is still the top f2p game in terms of how it allows f2p people to progress while still encouraging ppl to waste money on the game. But with SF I feel like I keep getting to points where I want to try and grind something but I need 5 avengers characters first or some nonsense like that

I don't like this event, however I still will be able to get SW, but she will be low started. I can work on everything else until she comes back around. But this is really horrible. I don't have good mystic and heck even all hands members not mystic. I have mordo I haven't touched, I think I might have to upgrade him to get some place in middle path.

Apparently Mordo is really good in the mystic campaign. I had him at 19/45 but they recently took him out of premium and basic orbs =/

He's back in the orbs. that was a bug. Same for cable.

I have a 2 star mordo but lack the gold and gear to level him. Plus I unlocked cap this morning and he is one of my most wanted so I'm probably going to focus on him.

I really hate when I use all my energy for 0 fragments.

I'm so gold starved right now. I'm really close to unlocking Scarlet witch so I want to save some gold to power her up. I've gotten lucky with orb pulls. 2x 8 shards, 1x 20, and 1x 5. I think I can get her to 3 stars for the ms marvel event.

I won't be able to 3* unless I get something crazy like 2 25 shard pulls. Sitting at 33 shards right now. Trying not to use cores but I have used a few when close to a pull.

Ms marvel should go better for me as I have several well leveled city characters and no well leveled mystics. Won't be able to do the tie in event with both which stinks.

Now that I think about it, I'm only at 41/45 shards. 3 star is pretty optimistic, also don't think I'll be able to do the ms marvel on hard so I'd be relying on good drops to get her to 3 stars. =/ I guess it's expecting too much for 20 days of playing haha.
