It's always been made of vibranium. That s how it can keep bouncing around so much because vibranium absorbs the energy from the impact or whatever so it doesn't lose momentum.

Captain America's shield isn't made out of adamantium in the comics.

It's a steel/vibranium alloy that used an unknown catalyst. The alloy has incredible energy absorption properties and effectively indestructible. Attempts to recreate this alloy resulted in adamantium which is nearly as indestructible but heavier, toxic, and lacks the energy absorption properties.

They didn't need the X-Men mythos to be great and they still don't. In fact, I think the series will take a hit if they incorporate the X-Men into it. Having an entire demographic of people with mutant powers simply devalues what it means to be a normal human being.

Which is why X-Men doesn't work for me. It's an anti-prejudice story in a world where the "master race" actually exists.

Superheroes are better when they're ahead of the curve. There's no need to devalue human beings for the sake of devaluing them. The Marvel movies have done a good job of making them seem like they matter too. When people start developing fire breath and telekinesis without explanation beyond "evolution leaps forward," that's all gonna go out the window.

X-Men are better off self-contained in their own universe.

Agreed. They still don't have a true universe, and something that big is way too difficult to maintain even with apparent billions.

Lamafo can you imagine fox's quicksilver walking up to marvel's scarlet witch and being all like "Wanda, it's me Pietro your brother!" I don't know if it's funnier to imagine this exchange with him doing the bad heavy Russian accent or typical american accent so you decide.

I personally imagine it like Roman meeting niko in gta 4, aka annoying as fuck lol.
