I really cannot comprehend this line of thought at all unless you just dont know his history.

I really don't know much of his history tbh. I don't step into CE drama too often (well now I don't lol, 2011-2013 is a different story)

It's the same situation with SomeLikeItHoth. I've never had a bad interaction with him personally, and he was even super nice when I got diagnosed (he even got me Stardew Valley). Though I'm aware of his history in that instance.

its more so how gavi treats certain people below him. as ive said before, i dont think he was actually part of what some others think he was, he has never denied his cousin was, but it doesn't make sense that he would be involved in it, yet no charges ever were brought against him or even mention him in the case. i think this is why people get modded for bringing it up, there is no proof to it and he denies it, at least when hes not being overly sarcastic which is 80% of the time.

where as with the weird ass kissing thing he makes people do for his ego or whatever, he flat out admits to doing that with glee.

Word, I've just been on a bit of a jrpg kick lately thanks to Radiant Historia. I bought Ys VIII on Switch last night

i didnt like graces
i think its gameplay is really good but the characters bugged me

though the mini sequel the ps3 version comes with is another story. i wish the main game had the same level of quality.

xillia is the epitome of meh to me
it doesnt do anything really wrong but it doesnt do much right either
its not a bad game but not a great one either.
kind of how i feel about dragon quest 6
its ok for what it was but it wasnt all that.

i hear xillia 2 is leagues better but i never played that one.

tales of legendia i really like but it has a reputation of being one of the worst games in the series
and i have to agree but the thing is i love the cast (minus shirley)

the entire cast is fantastic and likable (except for shirley)

i liked cheria
but that was more from a gameplay perspective
she was the strongest party member

story wise she was just bland. she was overall inoffensive so i didnt have a reason to dislike her but had a big gameplay reason to like her

Bullshit. She's a great parent. She plays triple triad with the win all rule by default. I farmed so much stuff from her that I upgraded squall's weapon from the starting one directly to the penultimate one as soon as I got to balamb town. She was a very kind lady for letting me hustle her over and over and over.

she also has the zell card
but being easily swindled doesnt mean she is a good parent
it just more proof that she never should have adopted

i mean she let her teenage son tattoo his face

And if he changes his mind and wants to get the tattoo removed, I'll pay for with money I earned selling off all that extra loot I got from swindling her. All works out in the end.

i count tales of berseria as the first tales game with a female lead
i know that technically you can pick milla to be your lead character in xillia
but you could also choose jude and you miss out on a large chunk of the gameplay and story if you pick milla so the game really wants you to pick jude
