Like a drumstick or whatever

Why not have so you only have to eat the meat, that's what I make restaurants do for me.

When I eat a drumstick I not only feel like an animal, I also turn into one. Uncontrolled rage, foaming at the mouth, scratching the shit out of couches, urinated on walls, etc.

Oh no that's when I drink.

Did I? Or did I scrape it off the road with a shovel hand woven from rocks and sticks?

Because the marrow on the end of bones is good and I like to chew on the bones.

There also is a literal difference when meat is cooked on the bone since the marrow actually cooks out a bit. That's the reason you can make a good soup base by boiling the bones.

No, I don't fantasize when I'm eating.

Here's the benefits of bone:
Aethestic
Bone holds extra flavor
Very satisfying to eat off of
Extra grip where applicable
Marrow is tasty, for those into that
Also helps you keep track of how much you're eating

Here's the benefits of no bone
Fork + knife is ez
Probably cooks a little faster

I don't think that is actually true. The bone would be at the core, meaning that there is less depth to the meat. Since the bone doesn't actually need to be cooked through, it means less depth for the heat to penetrate.

In that case...lol

Boneless meat is fantastic for formal dates and meetings, of course. It also is easier to convert into leftovers or eat on the go.

There's so much to presentation, texture, and "activity" that literally changes the perception of tastes. Bone is the way to go, assuming it's quality.

That doesn't work if it is breaded or coated in any way.

It's no big deal though. Everyone has preferences, and outside of memes, this is as harmless as it gets.

In what sense? If it doesn't touch your teeth first the taste completely changes?

Breading can rip and tear if you try to cut into it. It also can contain grease, oil, seasoning, or coating that may spill out when cut.

That'd be pointless since one of those benefits is the texture and taste of the marrow, so you'd have to simulate that and we'd be back at square one.

A few reasons

- it excites a sort of primitive joy to rip strips of meat off a bone
- it cooks differently when you cook it on the bone
- it's a cool presentation
- carving meat off the bone after cooking can be annoying and sometimes it's just easier to let the eater do it
- I actually enjoy chewing on gristle and cartilage and sucking bone marrow

Bone = clout
I went to a fancy smancy restaurant and paid like $20 for just a bone. No meat. Just a big ol bone. Spread the marrow on some brioche.

There you have it.

Bone = fancy
No bone = no fancy

It's fancy if the napkin you tuck into your shirt is cloth. Also ribs are usually pretty expensive.

Rib consumption = wealth

Sorry that you're too poor for ribs TC. Hopefully they raise my taxes so that I can help support your family so that you can eat the food of the working man.

I think TC doesnt have any front teeth or is wearing dentures.

Meat that come with bones are usually the best because they are more scculent and tender. Like chicken thigh and wings. Chicken breast are usually dry and tough. But if the chicken is done just right its acceptable.

If you have a big ass turkey and for it to be cooked thoroughly in the oven, the breast would definitely always be dry and tough. So if you are clever, you should always call dibs in the leg or the wings.
