Obviously there are blue words, and those are links to the relevant articles, but every so often, you might see a red word. You click it, and it doesn't really do anything. Why do they exist?

Either that, or someone thinks that there should be such an article, but they don't consider themselves on the level to start it. So they make the link, and wait for someone else to do it.
