Been debating trading my AR for an X95, but I'm still not sure. I had the older Tavor for a while but it kinda grew tiresome. Didn't like how far the charging handle stuck out.

Local shop has an X95 but its overpriced. I wouldnt mind having one but Im not willing to pay what they go for. I did look at it and considered it. Nice feeling gun.

I'm a one rifle, one pistol kinda guy, so I can usually invest more into one thing. The price is high, but I'm more curious if it's "worth" it, if that makes sense.

Youre Canadian right? I think the SKS is a great first gun. 10 round standard so its not modded to hold less, 7.62x39 is available and affordable in Canada from whats Ive read. Its a fun round to shoot, not a lot of recoil. I think you all can get Russian SKSs still too. Im partial to Soviet designed guns though.

They are limited to 5 rounds in Canada. That said you can get Russian made ones for dirt cheap. Cheap ammo might be hard to find though since the steel case stuff is in short supply.

My Tavor's trigger is awesome since I replaced it with Geissele's Super Sabra and Lightning Bow. I do agree about the fugly barrel on the non-SBR PS90. TC needs to order the 10.4" barrel and get his stamp for it ASAP.

I wonder if they could just replace the buttpad on them with some sort of silly brace and call them pistols, that way it wouldn't need to be 922r compliant and it wouldn't look nearly as silly. Or even just do away with the pad and replace it with just a plate so it actually operates.

fun gun, but i could never justify spending $1500 on a pure range toy and the ammo to go with it. im too much of a cheap ass.

I've got 4 or 5 AK's I need to SBR as well, maybe someday. It doesn't look quite as goofy in person. It's also the same length at my AR pistol which is nice.

I think a brace looks more silly than a long barrel. There are some that look ok.

I think a brace looks more silly than a long barrel. There are some that look ok.

I was more thinking around the lines of just making a piece of rubber that takes the place of the buttpad, but it has a strap and an oval cut in it. You know, a brace.
