I'm sure there are others, but those stick out the most.
You can't be surprised when you show someone years and years of this and they learn to think its ok/normal.

I think maybe the movie I saw was based on a tell all book. so....yea, maybe it wasn't true if that's the case. I believed it at the time at least. I think this was in the late 90's or around 2000 or something

I think it's more likely caused by horny teenagers living with someone of the opposite sex around the same age as them and not being related to each other.

You're not even related to step-siblings by blood, why do people act like that's such a huge deal? You're siblings in name only. It's like if you call your friend a brother or a sister. Ok here's a rundown of the situation.

It all started on Runescape. My mom and I played together pretty regularly. She couldn't work because of disability so she played a lot more than I did. She made quite a few friends through the game, it was nice.
Eventually she made friends with a player we'll call Lady. We all started playing together a lot, almost every day after school. Eventually Lady got her friend to start playing. We'll call her Fairy. Turns out we were about the same age.

Over time I drifted off and started playing less with them and more on my own. I ended up helping Fairy out really often because, honestly, she kind of sucked really bad. Like she was awful. So we played just the two of us for a long while. It got to the point where we started talking outside of the game on MSN. Pretty much every day we talked and either played or just talked while doing whatever.
I got myself a webcam and we started video chatting. She was cute in a weird quirky type of way. She was a brunette with shoulder length hair and braces.
We talked and played like this for months. It was pretty great. Then my mom told me she had fallen for Lady and they had been video chatting. She wanted to introduce us on chat for some weird reason. Whatever. So my mom sets up the video and calls me over. I get there and freak out a little, because sitting in the video next to Lady is Fairy. As it turns out, Fairy was her daughter. I didn't no how to react so we both just acted like we had never seen each other.

Time went on as usual when I got news from my mom. Lady and her two daughters were going to come and visit us from Canada. Cool I guess? But also awkward. They all came down in the early summer and stayed with us for about two weeks. We went to movies, Deer Forest, swimming, fishing, mom pulled out all the stops. It was actually a blast. It had been a while since we did that kind of thing.

On the last night they were visiting we all decided to stay in. We were tired and they had a flight in the morning. So mom and Lady watched some weird Lifetime movie in the living room. I can't stand that shit so I went to my room. I put on a horror movie on my little tv and sat on the bed. About halfway into the movie Fairy and her sister popped into my room wanting to get away from the awful movie our parents were watching. Fine whatever, I don't mind.

We all sat on the bed watching horror movies for the night. It wasn't terrible. The younger sister eventually fell asleep, it was kind of adorable. She was super shy and nervous about being around new people so it was cool to see her open up a little. While watching the movie Fairy snuggled up close to me. I didn't know well, anything about girls so this was just. IDK. I popped in another dvd, I think it was Gothika? A pretty shit movie. As I sat there Fairy grabbed my arm and put it around her. Me being a teenage boy thought....well.....why not? And I made a move.I kissed her, and it was really nice. We sat on the bed watching movies, and me occasionally hitting second base, and kissing.

And then they left, and I didn't really think any more about it. Except about a year later, we were moving to Canada so Mom and Lady could be together. Everything felt surreal. What was going to happen? Well what happened is we moved to Canada in May, and Mom and Lady were married in June. A month. It still blows my mind. But the weirdest of all was Fairy. It was like our parents didn't matter. All that mattered is she was cute, she liked me, and we lived together.

That leads into what you can naturally assume. We "Dated" for 6-8 months before we found out she was pregnant. It was. Holy shit. Both our parents were very christian so, we kept the baby.

Life was hard, and we only made it together another year, but we're still very close. And we couldn't love our son any more than we do.

TLDR:
Mom and I played runescape, we both met girls through it. Turns out my girl was Mom's girl's daughter. We moved to Canada and parents got married. We didn't care and banged anyway, and eventually had a kid.

It really isn't. It's weird. It's super weird bro. I'm sorry, but it's just weird. So much to process... you moved to another country so your mom could marry her Christian conservative lesbian lover, at which point you started doing your new step sister? The "it was hard" comment even makes it seem like she might have been underage too, like "15 and pregnant." I hope not. But this whole thing feels kind of gross.

I was 14 when she got pregnant, it was actually right near her 14th birthday.
Whatever man. I've dealt with more and worse criticism.

Legally it is not. By both Canadian and US federal law. I've fought the mods on this and they conceded.
