I'm falling apart faster and faster each year. I spend more and more time in the hospital, away from her and our son, and when I am home I need help doing more and more things. Recently I had to cut my hair, 21 inches off, because I no longer had the energy to wash it and dry it. Well, I couldn't catch my breath in the process. This has affected every part of our life.
I don't really drive anymore, I have to eat a lot so I still do as much cooking as I can....but even some of that has fallen on her, and our entire 6 years together I have never relied on her to cook the insane amounts of food I have to eat. I told her that I wanted her to leave. Find someone who can do all that shit she likes to do as a family....going to the park and zoo, water parks, road trips....I wouldn't blame her because I know that I'm not a catch, and (not to brag) my wife isn't ugly. She has options. I have no life insurance (no one would cover me, I'm way too high risk) so she isn't getting anything out of this. It drives me crazy that she loves me enough to stay with me and go through all this shit that she has had to see and help with. Keep loving her and appreciating her. If she believes you are worth the sacrifices she is making, then the best thing you can do for her is agree with her, that you are worth the things she does for you, and you are not so unworthy as to be unloved.
