Thanks, Yankees. Never upgraded Anna, huh? I dont regret doing it since shes one of the few fast axe users and youll always need her for quests. Lyon is also worth upgrading if you need a red raven mage since he has good bulk

I've been focusing my feathers on merges and skill inheritance where necessary. I think Lilina is the only character I promoted for use this year. I have six good red mages as is, and I'd sooner build Raven as an infantry axe. I've even got a perfect 4* Nino just hanging around since I've never felt the need to build her.

It's the first time in over a year that I may have to use a 4* unit in the arena. And it's possible I can still get back to tier 20 even with it.

I sunk almost 140 orbs into Camilla. Worked up a high pity rate and got her and Fallen Celica on the last circle.

Camilla is +Def -Res. Not great, but that's fine. She can be hone fliers support for my fourth arena assault flying squad. Slowly going full flier emblem.

Celica is +Spd -Hp which is pretty nice. I'm quite happy with this pull; I was considering going for her way back for that art alone

Took like 140 orbs to get Camilla. Was -Atk/+Res which was pretty bad so I figured might as well use my last 20 orbs to get another. Then the next pull was my second Camilla lol. Neutral IVs, I'll take that over -Atk

Wow, 4 flier teams? I see where your interests really lie. I would be more tempted for Camilla if I didn't already have SCorrin

I miss those Feh channel tweet events that actually gave rewards, but it's nice IS has been more generous recently in general

I could probably run 4 fully decked out flier teams by this point, one of which being Camilla Emblem. Speaking of which, I had 80 orbs to try getting summer Camilla with after picking up the July orb deal, and managed it with the very last 4 orbs, thankfully. +Spd -Res too.

Well with the July Orb Promo and the summer quests I got a fodder Hector at 4% (+Def, -Res). Now that I have two extra Hectors I may actually use one <_<

I have like 3 Armor Emblems, 3 Horse Emblems, and 2 Dragon Emblems, but only one Flier Emblem, and it's stuck with a -Atk Elincia. I have yet to pull a single Ranged Flier unit. I got up to 4.75% on the last Summer Banner before getting I'M SIEGBERT'd. So I'm gonna try one more time for Tana on the last banner. Good thing it lasts for 5 years....

Yeah I was. Despite not having used my first fodder yet I wanted one more Hector fodder. And can't beat a 3 unit banner with the other two on Colorless to get him.

I think it's mostly a mental block. I had two builds in my head that used Distant Counter (Selena and Oboro) but wasn't making either one. Now hopefully that I have two I'll actually make one.

I realized not too many units are good DC fodder because they have to be kind of bulky and also likeable. Hawkeye might be a good candidate for it if he ever gets an upgrade

Yeah Hawkeye and Titania I'd considered too-- I figure with two Hectors (normal Hector and Valentines Hector) I already have with DC they're lower priority though. I'd probably get another DC fodder before I considered them. Also because I have two hectors I'd probably rather just go Steady Breath anyway since I have a couple of solid green DC units already.

I technically have an armor emblem I never use outside of quests that require it. Two horse teams and a bunch of infantry teams I mix with leftovers.

Myrrh is the only one so far that I had to give DC for. I've targeted Steady Breath more as a rare A skill since I find myself wanting it for more things. Great time to get Hector though

6% pity rate broken by Gray while going for Tana. my god, i knew that banner was bad, especially trying to go for Tana, but it turned out even worse than i thought. at least on a legendary banner i would have gotten something better than that, and probably sooner. i even opened the rest of the circle and didn't get anything else.

well it's done and over with at least. probably not gonna try for her again. maybe if i happen to get Camilla and there's still time left.

I've never known a banner to spit out more off-banner 5* units than the first summer 2018 one. It took my 5th attempt before I finally got Cordelia.

Funny you say that... be prepared to witness the worst luck that can happen to anyone in this game. I thought when it took me close to 500 orbs to get Micaiah was super awful and dearly hoped it would never happen again, but the same shit occurred yesterday on summer banner 2. My haul is below, all 5* reds:

Ares (+Atk/-HP)
Lyn (+Def/-Res)
Lucina (+Def/-Spd)
Brave Roy (+HP?/-Spd, merged into neutral)
Sigurd (+HP/-Def, second one)
Reinhardt (+Def/-Spd, merged into second one)
Reinhardt (+Atk/-HP)
Celica (+Def/-Spd)
Morgan (+HP/-Spd)
Leif (+Res/-HP)
STiki (+Def/-Spd)

That's 10 combo breakers before I finally got what I was looking for. This was about double the amount of pity breakers of when I went for Micaiah during her debut, and I could have done without 50% of the fluff. I get Lucina almost 1.5 years after her release, and she's been completely invalidated, especially with those IV's, because I can just use Fake Marth. Lyn is also completely useless. Celica is yet another recent example of units I've been getting that I no longer really desire for. Lilina and Sanaki take care of my infantry red mage needs, but I'll train her up for this week and use her in arena

I also got two more Ares and Morgan as 4*'s, and it sucks Dull Ranged 3 is locked to 5* because I don't plan on merging him. I got sword horses up the wazoo, think I'm only missing Chrom and Eldigan. Also got infantry swords up the wazoo, and I don't even see a need to train up Leif. Still miffed Light Brand doesn't have in-built DC >__>

I guess the recent great luck I've been having in this game had to come to an end someday, and I was definitely getting more anxious with each combo breaker I was seeing, wondering if I was going to have to dump all my orbs into a banner that seemed super rigged. I'm not upset, but summoning hell is back in full motion and I probably need to skip Hero Fest. Was really looking forward to getting Grima, who is most likely on the banner and making him Steady Breath inheritor #2, but really need to save up for CYL2 again

No one has had luck this bad in this game, right...?

All things considered with on banner vs off banner I've had really good luck in this game. I don't think I've ever been combo broken by an off banner more than three times and I'd say I get the on banner more than half the time.

That's just an outrageously bad run.

And Xuxon's 6% pity rate too. I think my all time record was 4.75%

I think my highest pity rate is 4.5% so I can't really complain. I've had pretty good luck getting the focus unit I want with not too many exceptions. I guess the worst was pulling six 5* units sniping Summer Corrin with four of them being other on banner units.

I've been to 5% once and 4.75% twice. Two of them ended with Flying Nino and the third one ended with Abel.

i think my highest pity rate before that was 4.75. and while my luck with other colors is probably about average overall, my luck with reds in particular was insanely good before that - never spent more than like, 150 orbs without getting a red i was going for, and most i got for 75 or less. i'm pretty sure my average was less than 75 orbs to get a character while sniping red. so just luck balancing itself out.

Ironically despite so many complaints about the summer banners they were my luckiest by far. I got two Tanas and a Noire with like 30-40 orbs. I think the only banner I've drawn from that comes close was the Bridal banner where I got 3 Ninians in around that (though I got out on the summer banner and Bridal banner normalized by taking forever to get Tharja)

Got up to 4.25% going for Tana again. I did some TT and Tap Battle and worked up 20 more Orbs, got busted by Summer Cordelia. Which isn't too bad, if I didn't get Tana, she was my second pick. Went ahead and did a full pull for the hell of it and got Noire, too, but she's +Res/-Spd, which is probably the worst spread possible for her.

Great Infantry Rush fodder, at least. I didn't really want to use her anyway, so that spread is actually welcome. I actually never realized Infantry Rush was a C Skill, though that should've been kinda obvious. Makes me more eager to put a team together to use it.

Linde looks nice at least, and Tiki has been a good auto-battler for TT (and probably better than Leif/Anna for the coming arena season). though Tiki is -spd so she'd probably have to run the standard dragon build to be really useful and i'm not sure i want to sac a Hector to her.

Interesting that the TT boss is non-ranged for the first time. Also, for the first time, I'm using a healer on my auto-battle team and it's working out pretty well. I unequipped Sakura's weapon and she keeps my party's HP up with Rehab while buffing them with Def Tactic. STiki, Nowi, and LH Hector round out my team. It was very nice I got LH Hector because he completes the bait trio quite fittingly. I've been able to clear Lunatic 5 pretty reliably, which I wasn't prepared for since I've had a lot of trouble doing that on auto-battle for the past couple TT's, and this TT is also not very AI-friendly

Poor TT boss gets nuked by Tana round 1 every time without fail. Probably the easiest TT final stage ever

the last stage in particular is so bad for the AI. my Hardin pretty much always goes towards the enemy Tiki and promptly gets one-rounded, while my Tiki that could fly across still doesn't get to the enemy Tiki before this happens. it's baffling.

Those red five stars pop up when you least expect them. Sniping red feel so bad. I might have went for Tana too if it wasn't a red on a four unit banner

To be fair all of those have Distant Counter which functionally makes you ranged except Brave Ike so he only really forgot one.

They really need to do a better job of spreading out the colors for Sacred Seals. Colorless barely gets used, followed by green, while red and blue get used all the time. Flashing Blade and Spd Ploy are both blue, so now I have to grind for blue badges >___>

They're based on the stat. All speed stuff is blue. Farm the training tower on blue days if you feel you need more

I've only been touching the training tower for the monthly quests lately, and I haven't really found the need to grind it to upgrade the seals.

Last year it was the August FEH Channel that revealed the CYL units. The July FEH Channel from last year was for Hero Fest. We might get another Hero Fest this time as well.

Yeah I've never needed to grind training tower either I just do floor 10 once a day if I remember to. But I do kinda like that you know which color is higher premium without actually even seeing the seal because of the consistency of hitting a stat.

Aside I got -Spd Mia from the Luna banner. If I needed more incentive to fodder her. Time to figure out a use for this Flashing Blade A ability that isn't better served by the seal. Might just save it for Karla if I ever draw one since I think that may actually be best in slot for her. If only Fury or Life and Death had seals these strong A abilities would be a bit more appealing.

collected the last of the TT orbs yesterday, and with today's login bonus it was just enough to summon again. got Camilla! +def -HP, which makes her super frail to magic. exact same res and HP as my Spring Camilla, actually. i guess it hasn't been a problem too often.

once i got Spring Kagero badges weren't ever a problem again. though that may be a coincidence, because while i do use her most of the time for the training tower, there haven't been many seals i've bothered upgrading lately. and i think one of the few i did used green or colorless, which i've always had tons of.
