Reminder: if they're in a courtroom it's because they probably did it

the closest that I ever was to being chosen was when I was sitting in the jury thing, and both lawyers said that they were cool with the selection and the two alternates, and I was at the very end so I got off.

so they choose ten people for the jury, two for the alternates, and me and the person I was sitting by got to go.

I felt so relieved.

The only time I actually had to serve on a jury was a DUI/Manslaughter case. It wasn't a pleasant experience.

I've dodged 3 jury duty so far by expressing distrust of police during intial questioning/assessment.

kinda wish i had the chance to do jury duty just once (to fulfill my right as an american).

they waited for the movie to finish before they released us

can't believe i spent 7 hours doing absolutely nothing at all

after they went over the directions, about 60% of the room got called up to go to the judge

the rest of us waited around in the jury assembly room doing nothing the entire time
