They should rid the world of balloon battle crap and focus on the courses...different ways to race or obstacles or something...balloon battle is crap. No one likes it.

Is that the one where you could blow into the mic to fill up your balloons if they got popped? I remember having fun with that. DS course was awesome.

Courses are definitely more important, but variety is always good. Personally, since I'm a huge Double Dash fan, I'd love if all future console Mario Kart games had a Double Dash option. So not mandatory, but you could have a separate mode where you have two riders per kart and double item boxes.

I feel like Double Dash would have been awesome with online play. Only gripe was such few tracks.

Blowing up balloons with the mic was awful.

It didn't work well unless you put your lips right on the dang thing and then you couldn't see to play.

My only issue is that you couldn't choose which color balloon you wanted, unless you stole them from other players(which is satisfying)

Using the mic to blow up replacement balloon is a cool idea in theory, but it takes too long and you're a sitting duck...

Also, having fewer balloons means you'll get better items.
