About 6~7 years ago I was pretty dang fat - and Clench helped me drop almost 100 LBs to my desired weight. And I held it for a long time.

I had a Bowflex and an Elliptical and I used them all the time.

Then I got sick, and all the weight came back - but then I got better, but at that time I had moved from my parents into this apartment so I don't have the Bowflex+Elliptical anymore

My weight is almost back to where I initially started... however, I'm still using the same food and diet plan as I was 6 years ago so basically it's all gotta come down to exercise.

I just, like, really find it difficult to exercise here in the apartment... IDK if it's the lack of space or the heat or not having a TV to flex in front of... just not sure.

Ya, there's a couple nearby gyms and I could always walk to my parents place - it's a long ways, but that's part of the exercise.

As I mentioned in Zang's topic - I think it was the convenience of having the elliptical in front of the TV that made the difference

It's also possible that you need both. So just exercise or just diet might not help. That's just something to also think about...

I know my gym on base has a bunch of TVs in the room with the treadmills, bikes, etc. with headphone plug-ins to watch a bunch of channels. Maybe a gym close by has that. Or you could watch something on Netflix, Hulu, etc. on your phone while exercising.

That's true, too...

I had a Bowflex

pretty sure those are not worth the space they take up, so no issue there

just happened to be reading this a couple hours ago, it's a good read:
