Humans today would have no issues if dinosaurs, including the T-rex, as our tech is just that good, but if we had to survive back with dinosaurs like that in our early days...I don't know. We have killed plenty of big things from whales to mammoths, but I don't know if we ever had to worry about a predator as large as a T-rex. Their senses are beyond many of the birds of today, and they are actually relatively smart.
