Great item. Usually carry one on my person. Very convenient for opening things and, I suppose, for the illusion of self-defense (the practical defensive pocketknives -- switchblades -- are widely banned these days; a normal pocketknife is harder to get open when being attacked, especially if you only have one free hand, such as when being attacked by an animal).

Carried one as a kid
