I have to admit, I'm bummed that he is leaving as GotG was a great, different marvel movie at its time.

Now in addition to their foolish move of firing him for such an old transgression, there's the greater story here of companies not standing by their employees in any way. There was no vote among shareholders, there was no calculated investigation, and furthermore there wasn't even any public outcry. This thing came to light and they axed him, just like that. I would be so afraid as an employee of Disney right now because they've made it clear they will not back up their workers in any way. They throw you to the dogs.
