Just had my first END and now the title screen is all jacked up. Not sure if I'm supposed to start a new game or return to before the last choice I made. I imagine its start a new game since the NEW GAME button is scrambled.

I haven't been this unsettled by a cute looking anime game since that one with the bunny girl who sends you messages via the game files and then comes across the screen to murder you when you try to exit out.

My interest was piqued by that guy who killed himself after playing and hearing the VN compared to Spec Ops: The Line, but damn. When I saw the poem that said "Get out of my head. Get out of my head. Get out of my head. Get out of my head. Get out of my head. Get out of my head. Get out of my head...." I really got the heebie jeebies.

Aw fuck me I tried to reload to pick the other choice and it says "File error: "characters/sayori.chr" The file is missing or corrupt" and now I'm even sadder.

If you want to really laugh, look up some "fan theory" videos of the story. Well, whatever you call that mess they call a story.

It's okay, keep playing.

Sayori's death was pretty horrifying. I saw it coming from a mile away, but the moment was awful to witness either way. The art was very distressing and the music really fucked me up.

I look forward to getting to the girls' poems on this go around. Expecting some freaky stuff. I regret taking that short break after that first end. I should have at least tried for that other choice right away.

Edit: If I had started the new game with the messed up title, would it have done the same thing or would it have given me a clean game?
Edit to the edit: it occurs to me that if I hadn't made any saves on my own, I would have had to use the new game button which answers my question.

Since I mentioned that similar spooky game altering the files in the game folder, I decided to take a quick look. I was amused by the fact that it actually deleted the Sayori.chr file.

The dark section isn't even shocking. Oh wow, they threw in some shocking imagery to contrast the overly cute tone! Wow! That's fucking amazing and never has taking two opposite things to blend together been done before!

yeah you're nearly at the end. you should've paid a bit more attention to the dialogue near the beginning of the encounter you're in at the moment, she drops vague hints on what to do next. she'll keep dropping them every time you close and reopen the game.
you need to delete her to progress the story, if you wanna spend eternity with her, that's coo' too

She'll eventually start looping her dialogue. She'll always go through all her finite amount of dialogue before doing so though.

After clicking through the messed up dialogue for I while I figured saving and loading might work and I was confused by the filters. However I noticed her blood got a little drier every time I reloaded and I realized the filters were the day night cycle. I thought that was pretty clever.
