saw a motorcycle guy driving between the cars on the sidewalk side

got to a point where he couldn't fit anymore, so he instead drove on the sidewalk itself to go around them

There's a road in town where the right lane terminates after a fairly short distance. People use it incorrectly to get a few cars ahead. The people in the left lane don't like this. They'll speed up so the right lane can't get in and have to merge behind. Seen so many near accidents right there.

I still think the right laners are being stupid, but I just let them in.

Youre coming up on a truck or someone else driving pretty slow so you think to yourself "oh, better move over a lane"

So like a responsible driver you put on your turn signal.

And then some shmoe 3 lengths back sees it and takes it as a personal challenge to cut you off and speeds up.

And its not just him. But the women. And the children. Theyre animals.

There is a balance, like all things. I mean theres obviously a difference between being a clueless grandma who puts other peoples lives at risk, an actually efficient driver, and an impatient selfish butthole who puts other peoples lives at risk. Please dont road rage yall

I always signal while getting over when the car is far back to prevent that. Don't know why dickheads always take a lane change as a challenge.

Worst is people who take a right turn directly into the left lane, especially when I just turned right and signal immediately to get into that lane. People gotta follow the rules.

There was this guy once who was hanging out right exactly where I couldn't tell if I had enough room to merge. So fine, whatever, I put on my indicator to merge and speed up a bit. Dude matches my speed and stays exactly in that same spot.

So ok, I think, maybe he has this weird thing about not getting merged in front of. I slow down. Completely take my foot off the gas. Again he matches my speed.

Fine. I literally floor it. And now, I didn't have a fancy sports car or whatever so it wasn't super impressive but I was hoping it was enough for derpman to get the idea. Nope. He stays right in that stupid spot.

Finally, I check the rearview (you know you're about to do something stupid when you start with that) and semi-slam the brakes. Like pedal halfway down or so. Freaking dude literally starts to brake also before he finally chickens out and lets me get behind him so I can merge. And then he's all mad at me.

News flash, the appropriate means of driving through a lane closure is going to the end before merging. Traffic is made worse by all the bad drivers who try to change over asap and then take people driving correctly as a personal slight.

Careful, you will anger all the "lane splitters" that thing it is their god given right to do this.
