Its more humane to stab them in the head prior to throwing them in the water. I prefer to get already dead shellfish though, I dont have it in me to kill it myself.

Idk about crabs/lobsters, but octopus definitely feel pain and remembers things so I can see the argument for trying to kill those humanly.
Crabs its hard to gauge if they really do feel pain though. I mean we have a species of crab that just rips its arm off to grow another one. --- Am I going too hard? ... Copied to Clipboard!
