Russia is a lovely country. St Petersburg is absolutely gorgeous. Novgorod and its lake are fantastic as well. Moscow is really nice too.

Partly due to the fact they barely travel outside their state, let alone continent, and therefore end up being completely stupid, uncultured, and blinkered to the rest of the world and its nicest places. And partly due to lack of curiosity.
