There's plenty of people among the American working class who oppose a living wage, or mandatory inoculations for those medically well enough to take them, or even enforcing the collection of taxes from multi billion dollar corporations.

Okay so here's what you misunderstand. It's not that the workers would have things taken from them, it would be the higher ups who don't actually work but have appropriated money from the workers.

Ever see that pizza example? It's like, a worker can make 20 pizzas an hour and after the cost of materials and money towards the building rental fee, plus the worker's wage for that hour, it takes 5 pizzas sold to start seeing a profit. Meanwhile the franchise owner can simply pay the bills yet will collect the full profit of at least 7 of the 20 pizzas produced every hour by the worker. But the worker will never be compensated more than 1.5 pizzas an hour.

Basically, we'd stop letting the property manager who only owns the means of production extract the surplus value for their own gain, and reintroduce it to the workers so that they may see the fruits of their labors.

Which would of course negate the incentive to own your own business.

You know that in our current system, you're paying more for food, rent and medical insurance than under EU models, and receiving less of each in the process? You're also getting less vacation time on average, meaning you're working more for less personal gain. Meanwhile the surplus of your work that you don't get paid for mostly just ends up in the pocket of higher ups who don't work nearly as much or as hard, and they get bigger tax write offs. Meaning they aren't even paying their fair share if they pay any at all, yet you pay your share and then some.

While I see some of your arguments:
1) Medical Insurance in Canada is a flat rate. I pay $38 a month, and as of next year I pay nothing.
2) I'll give you food, shit's expensive.
3) I get 8 weeks vacation time, above Canadian national average.
4) In theory yeah I'm making less, but I somehow don't feel too bad about it. Maybe it's the almost 80 K car...
5) No higher ups, money at our company that doesn't hit wages goes back into maintenance and such.
6) Aside from Gavi, Eval Angel and Luigi and Tails, I can't imagine many people on CE pay more in taxes than I do, so I'll give you that one too, but that's just part of life. Doesn't affect my living or my interests, so It doesn't steam me that much.

After living in Vancouver for a year, I also saw a disgusting amount of fake homeless people. My favorite was the guy out in front of the sky train in his Eddie Bauer jacket reading War and Peace and selling weed. Definitely a poor fellow right there...oh wait.

under communism, private property is not a thing, so yes, everyone, including the working class, will have their property forcibly taken from them by an authoritarian government

what would you prefer:
a) a system where the poor have safety nets, the majority of people are living comfortable middle-class lives and people are able to start their own businesses and maybe become rich, or
b) a system where literally everyone is poor, starving and without any rights?
