I hate his noise and I might stop playing because of it. it's like a bad kid's toy over and over. He's a fun character and at least arcade modes weren't centered on Symmetra for a few days.

Fired up QP for the first time in a while and went Widowmaker and just ripped off a 16-0 game just terrorizing the opponent and getting a trophy (I haven't had a legacy trophy in like 14 months) and I'm just so glad she isn't more powerful and her ultimate doesn't damage anything. There are some characters that centralize matches if the person/team knows how to play them. Widow would just ruin every game.

A Tjorborn that has his turrets messed up a lot early in a game will likely switch out and never look back. But if his team is in synch and the opponents can't seem to deal with him, then he just piles up kills and the opponents fail quickly.

Symmetra can be difficult, but it's a little bit better at the end of escort objectives because a lot is happening and her sentries get destroyed quickly and she only gets the 3 now. But she can still mess teams up early in games if they don't work to deal with her.

I speak almost entirely from the perspective of someone that plays mostly arcade and usually no mic anymore. The biggest advantage is usually a pre-made team with a Mercy. Comms > no comms and it's not even close, and having a team with a pair (or more) that includes someone who wants to spend their day healing in arcade is gonna do p well.

I do wish that one of the No Limits moves was "only these 1-2 characters". I feel like "all wrecking ball" matches end up with one team trying to have fun and the other team switches to a meta setup and it's just dumb.

I am honestly in total shock about how awful they've made Symettra. She is completely worthless now. This is beyond any nerf they've ever done.

And it's not just the numbers. Every change they've made to her kit makes her worse than before in a way that I don't know they can fix without just going "whoops" and reverting back.

It's at the point where I'd rather see someone pick Widow than Sym.

It's because her kit is innately weird and they wanted to make her not centered specifically on defense, which was probably a bad idea.

Her turrets aren't better enough to justify the reduction in numbers. They travel too slow to be used during battle. Teleporter could be good but because it spawns with you and ian't hideable it's a joke the UK is just annoying to use and cumberson, rarely effective. The direct laser never works out.

The only thing that feels good at all is the faster balls.

Basically she can set up a line of defense with turrets, but once the line is broken she is no longer of the slightest value. She's just a walking target.

She was my main and now I've got her dead last.

Before she was way too dependent on stupid people walking into a room of 6 turrets or getting the drop on enemies and melting them with her no aim beam. Now she can be more active, but shes still super boring to play as. Honestly kinda wish they would just retire her or something because her character is super boring as well

She is definitely squishier without her barrier. I dont really know what they can do with her to make her work. I just know whenever there is an enemy Symmetra if nobody is doing anything about her I switch to Winston and force her to switch by constantly shutting her down. Hopefully the Torb rework will be better. As much as I love hammering turret PotGs his hammer doesnt really do much. It has too short of range to use as an attack and any time spent with it out is time spent without his gun. He needs it to repair though unless they make it repair itself over time or something

still janky as shit. But my biggest issue is the maps just werent designed for a character that needs to roll around and have unimpeded movement. I hit so much dumb terrain like cars or a tiny fucking fountain in the middle of a control point that stop 100% of his momentum and leave him stuck getting murdered with nothing to do.

New Sym is kind of fun. I like spamming exploding orbs on groups. Feels like Junkrat. Her teleporter is super fun too.

The her primary definitely needs to be buffed though (even more than they're already planning to). There's no real way you're going to get any use out of it, even on shields, without her dying first.

This is exactly correct. His movement system is a neat idea, but maps are better designed for groundbound characters and even Pharah.
