Only really by one kid in elementary school, and he hung out with kids that were two or three grades higher than I was who were willing to do whatever he said for some reason, so fighting him one on one was never an option for me. They would all gang around me and ask if I was ready for them to beat my ass. It was kind of wild for a kid who had never even seen some of these people before

His life turned out horribly though. Drug addiction, unplanned kids who didn't really care for him, worthless job, living in a small trailer, petty crime, brother died and soon after his mom died, and a few years ago he overdosed and died himself. I kinda just shrugged my shoulders when I heard the news

I was bullied, but infrequently

I was a timid child, so that's probably why I'm a sarcastic, sometimes confrontational adult now

Sorta. I was made fun of but never really had the traditional bullies that beat you up or took your lunch money.

One kid did try to kick me in the balls out of the blue once. He missed, and I threw him to the ground. That's about the fightiest fight I ever had.

Kind of? Its what male friends do. We poke fun at each other and give each other a little roughhousing but just because we hang out and play video games and do after school sports together doesnt make it hurt less.

It went beyond bullying for me. It was systematic abuse and the school district and county judge looked the other way. I was hospitalized multiple times, including after being held down by other students and beat with a baseball bat.

So to answer the topic, yes.

Nope, I was fairly popular throughout. And I had two real phases: when I had leukemia and was undergoing chemo, at which point anyone bullying me would've brought down the hammer on them by fucking everybody, and when I was healthy and in great shape as a football player and/or boxer, so nobody could've really messed with me if they wanted to.

dude, watch your mouth. it's well documented that howard stern was a bully, don't diminish their experience because you idolize him or something.

May be i just lucked out but I only ever encountered one stereotypical "bully" in all of schooling, and he literally got expelled day 1 of 9th grade.

Now I have been excluded for not being popular more than enough times before about 7th grade, but Id hardly call that bullying. Just kids being shitty people, as kids typically are.

Nah I'd be lying if I said I was. I mean there was this one time this kid tried to make fun of me and act like he was about to escalate it, but I never backed down then he kinda shrugged and walked off. He was all bark. I was in all AP classes and also an athlete so no one really fucked with me.

Had issues at home with my stepdad as a kid though.

When I went to school with rich kids they made fun of me for being poor, having shitty clothes, etc. Didn't bother me though, I just thought they were stupid for being proud of a $200 pair of pants.

None of them ever started a fight with me probably because I was the heaviest member of the wrestling team and undefeated. I started two fights there.

When I moved back home to poor people land I became a bully, but only bullied other bullies.

Just a few times in 6th grade. My main issue at school was that I grew up in an area that was super religious and by HS my classes had all these Mormons and stuff. Then there was the smart clique as well but they were really arrogant and snobby and insufferable. Everyone else was some kind of neckbeard, redneck, or illegal Mexican. So basically the social situation sucked.

In elementary and middle school, yes. I've always been pretty short and after 4th grade I was the chubby kid on top of that(which still weirds me out considering I was a skinny, birdchested kid before that). Didn't help that I moved a lot so my my reputation be being someone who fought back didn't stick. Had a few guys in high school try to as well, but by that time I'd been told I gave off a 'don't fuck with me' vibe so me just stepping up and telling them to knock it off was enough to end things there.

I was fairly well liked. I remember a kid either trying to bully me once or just fucking around and I slammed him pretty hard against a locker. Then all if his friends laughing at him. That's my only memory of anyone even really attempting it. My classmates were mostly nice people.

Elementary school 1 - Some kid named Ryan who was a year older than me. Didn't last long.

Elementary school 2 - About half of the class hated me and I never understood why. I was often teased about my name, body shamed while changing for gym class (even though I was just as skinny as most of them), and I would always get nasty looks and would get ignored if paired with any of them during an assignment. For some reason I was put in a counseling group with other troubled students, even though I didn't have a problem.

A friend later turned on me in Grade 6 and became worse than all the others combined. Trashed my bike. Made me feel like crap at a birthday party and I left without anyone knowing. Had his younger brother beat me up saying he'd join in if i retaliated. I never felt anything... He even put graffiti on a park washroom door (outside in the open) to insult me. Lack of mother issues there...

Highschool - One guy in my class bullied me briefly in Grade 10 when I had my first (and only) girlfriend. I think he did it because of her and not me. He and another bugged me at my locker once. I somewhat told him off and asked him why he was doing it since he was usually pretty nice. That seemed to end it.

Then some jackass a year younger kept pestering me for the remaining couple of years. Even had his brother in on the "fun". After I graduated I thought that would be the last of it but I'd see him around town and he was a manager at the grocery store. Didn't help when I got a job there and was under him. Wound up quitting 8 months later because I couldn't take his shit anymore. He has since moved away.
