Vol2tex 07/27/18 10:52:08 AM #1:	A lot of the local NYC places I've tried aren't too good, I will have to try out more throughout Manhattan and Williamsburg. My favorite was this place one block away that had fluffy dough crust and a good amount of sauce. That was around 2000 though, they've had new ownership about 10 times since then. It was my own homemade, which has a level of freshness and sense of satisfaction that's hard to recreate in a restaurant. I lived with a buddy for a short time a couple towns over from where I grew up/live now, and they had this awesome local pizza place that was the best ever. They sold once and the new owners kept the recipe and quality up best I could tell, but they sold once again and the new owners have really let it go downhill. I took some friends there and they complained about how they could buy 2 domino's pizza pies for the price of Lombardi's.
