So happy we're finally getting a localization in this series after forever. Hope they don't immediately fuck it up by significantly changing the track list, but it sounds like they won't be.

I actually thought the Switch game was just a deluxe version of the PS4 game, I didn't know they had different features and track lists! I'll have to weigh the differences once I figure out what exactly each offers.

So I'm a little confused and I'm not seeing any concrete info on this, do these games have the same track list between versions? If so the Switch version becomes an easy pick for control options and avatars, especially since I don't care about online play on consoles.

If each version has different songs though, there's a lot more to think about.

No, both games should have different song lists, even outside of the exclusive Nintendo ones for Switch.

That is, of course, assuming these have primarily the same songs as the Japanese versions. Which honestly, isn't a guarantee.

I would expect even if they tried to keep most of the songs, licensing issues would prevent some of the J-pop and anime songs from crossing over. Still, the trailer did show "We Are!" Maybe it's the English version...

I just realized the Switch version has Cha-La Head-Cha La and PS4 has Limit-Break x Survivor... what cruel monster designed this split? Honestly I could see a case being made for picking up both versions.

...Unfortunately they confirmed today we are not getting the drum controllers, which really makes me wonder how much fun the PS4 version is going to be to play compared to the Switch version. :(
