By clicking that, I feel like gamefaqs is making me agree that the moderation was fair. No. It wasnt fair. Im only clicking agree to get the moderation to clear faster because they certainly arent going to change it if I dispute. The warn I got was completely unjustified.

I just don't accept them if it was bullshit. I don't care if they sit there longer in my history. I know the rules, I know when I break them, and I accept that. Where is no point for me to dispute it when a mod 100% misunderstands a post of mine, and I know the other mods will back them up, sometimes even saying, "yeah, Mod 1 misunderstood you, but it's being upheld anyway."

I had to bring my dispute as far as it could go before the Admin finally said I didn't break any rules. All the moderators before that were just stubborn.

The hilarious part is when they keep tossing absurd mods your way, but they're NKLs or just deletions so you're like whatever. Then you get modded for a ticky tack reason and suspended and their excuse is "well your extensive moderation history is the reason you've been suspended" like they don't realize the circular logic there.

Or when they let a few moddable messages build up that you don't know are moddable (since it's totally subjective) so they can push them through all at once and you go from a clean mod history to warned in a second.

The analogy I always use is from elementary school. Our teacher used to have us taken quizzes and then pass out quiz to the kid to our left, who would then grade the quiz. One time this girl who had my quiz asked if she could mark my answer wrong because my 0 looked a little like a 6. She pouted when the teacher said no. That punk ass little girl is exactly like these mods who just love having a little bit of power over someone else, and if they get bored enough, they'll manufacture ways to use it.

You have to understand that these mods have little to no educational background. Otherwise, why the hell would they volunteer to mod a shit hole like this? The rest of us good people are the hard workers of the world. We want to blow off a little steam and call each other a shit head or an asshole because hey... why the hell not!? Seems like the only people that get offended anymore are the mods. As you can clearly see Error over here deflecting the onslaught of jabs at him.

Yeah they're so transparent that no one buys their bullshit anymore. Acting as if moderations are no brainers when they're the least consistent moderators I've ever witnessed, and clearly let their emotions get the best of them. For example, after topics like this one where I call them on their bullshit, the likelihood of me receiving a nonsense moderations increases 10 fold. Something that I've seen others post, and that I've posted before is all of a sudden a clear violation lol. Oh well. Whenever i do get warned, I just realize all that means is I can't post on a shitty dying forum for a little while, whereas they have to live their lives on this bullshit lol. Actually I'll take that back, they don't have to, they choose to.

I remember making a post a few years ago about the GTA 5 character Franklin, but the mods thought I was talking about that Franklin. I got modded for harassment or something when it was super obvious I was talking about the video game character. It wasn't even negative or anything either. I contested it, got it overturned, but still got a smartass answer that basically boiled down to : "Yeah...well, it was a wrong moderation, but watch your step".

It's partly why I never bother anymore. No matter how polite or respectful you can be pleading your case they'll usually give you a bitter and smart ass response. Most of the time they'll uphold the moderation anyway. I just didn't see the point anymore.

Just check out the hellhole board to see how a lot of mods are. I can see ganging up and being smart allecy to known troublemakers when they complain about moderations, but they do that to regular users too.

I have alts. Delete all of em and you can make more and will get enough karma for anything shortly. When you care and get annoyed, the literally unpaid mods win. When you get warned or worse and just log into another account, feels good man.

I never accept them. They're always horse shit moderations anyway. And 90% of the time it's basically "You have an opinion that isn't of the accepted liberal approved group think and thus is either threatening or offensive." The other 10% is because I agreed with a joke or made a joke that some jello spined dip also found threatening or offensive and is thus deemed a violation."

To be honest is has seemed to have gotten better recently. They've at least layed off me recently anyway.
Usually I respond to them by calling out the hypocrisy of the standards and the nonsensical bs nature of what being "offensive" can mean since theoretically and as is often displayed anyone can be offended by anything. The key is to know when to tell some people to grow a spine and realize the world shouldn't bow to you because of your nazi viewpoint that "Only people with the same views as me should be able to speak them!". Which was a basic lesson everyone use to get taught growing up but fell away because of the "everyone is special" parenting that took hold. And thus the current state of society. But that's a whole other subject.

I accept them unless I feel like bitching at the mods for a little while. They always respond with the same bullshit lines but I can tell it gets to them because the absurdity of the moderations that happen afterwards increases tenfold. Which is fine by me, its not like this place is worth taking too seriously. Lol which sucks for the mods, since its their entire life.
