Because the people who called for those firings, get upset when someone they like gets fired for the same kind of shit?

It's the hypocrisy, not the firings themself, that most people take issue with.

Yeah, they got mad at the hypocrisy a full year and a half before it occurred.

Can you source that? The Neo-Nazis were the first prominent firings that I recall

I feel like marching in a Nazi rally is somehow a lot more different and well you know severe than whatever you are attempting to compare it to

Keyword, "prominent". Demands, from both sides, were all over the place on social media around, and long before for that matter, the Charlottesville crap. And indeed, leftists that made these demands lost their shit if anyone suggested BLM or Antifa thugs should lose their jobs.

I'm not 100% sure that you should be able to be fired based on your political beliefs no matter how stupid they are.
It's not legally protected class, but it's on the grounds of "if you don't think like me, yer farrrrrrred"

Marching in Neo-Nazi clothes and chanting racist slogans crosses whatever line you have drawn there, no?

Yes, always blame it on the other side. Never make people accept responsibility for their actions. No one is actually mad when people get fired for their actions and words. They're only mad that Da Libs aren't mad at all firings equally, even though they mock Da Libs for always being mad. Everyone was obviously mad at the James Gunn defense when that Duck Dynasty guy got fired years ago.
