Some of the best people I know own guns. I know some petite girls who conceal carry and I can't think of a strong reason why that's a bad thing. It's pretty much rape insurance. I'm not all that familar with the ins and outs of the NRA but I don't see why they couldn't work towards a bright future. They can promote gun safety, help gun control pass legislation, help hinder gangs and gang recruitment.
