Rise would do the best and is the only one who could even possibly make a field, and even then the odds would be extremely long unless she got a big push from the board.

Yeah, I thought Rise would have the best chance to make the field, but Tear isn't far behind given how Luke and Jade have made it before. Leia has no shot since Xillia was ignored around these parts, even if it is a really good game.

And I'd just be happy with any of them making the field. That's the goal, however ambitious.

Chie and Narukami are the only Persona characters to ever make a contest I believe

Chie was definitely in. She got like 5th in the X-stats because she faced Draven before he became a fucking tank.

Chie and Yu were in CBIX. Both lost in Round 1. Yu as a 3 seed (lol), Chie was in the Draven match. (But placed last there anyway)

Yeah, Chie got beaten by Jak. Narukami got more votes than Kat from Gravity Surge, but thats not really worth much. Any Persona character that gets in is more than likely losing pretty badly in R1

Tear is way behind. Luke couldn't get into a field of 243 in CB9 despite getting into a field of 128 5-6 years prior. now it's been another 5 years. the game has pretty much been forgotten on this site. if you want any new Tales characters, the Berseria lead is probably the best bet as she's a cute girl and the game was fairly recent and well-liked.

P4 has enough of a following where Rise at least has a chance, though i don't expect any P4 characters to actually make it after the release of P5. maybe if we get that huge field of 243 again.

Tales characters have never done well in these things. Lloyd tanked when Symphonia was brand new and everyone was going nuts for it.

Lloyd and Kratos are the only ones who have ever avoided looking like miserable fodder, and even they are still fodder.

I LOVE Tales, but they are definitely "happy to make it" characters. Like I said, pick one and roll with it. Depending on field size, you could get lucky and get her in.

A 7 seed in 2010 and a 4 seed in 2013 suggests we'll probably be seeing him again.

Shame that the Vesperia remaster won't arrive in time for the contest.

To be fair the 4 seed in 2013 was due in large part to being the Guru pick but he probably would've been an 8 or 9 without it, which isn't too shabby.

But yeah unless it's a 64 bracket, Yuri will probably be in this year.
