You need at least a little salt for savory dishes. Pepper not always

Though I try and season it well enough to not use either on cooked food

I pretty much put pepper on nearly anything that is lacking in flavor, could use a little something extra, or if it's soup but only ever use salt if something is literally flavourless.

IN the dish while it's cooking, salt very often.

Nothing after it's cooked. Sometimes I'll do pepper on stuff that I'm baking. Salt is a rarity. I've had the same case of salt for 5 years now lol

Other than like... french fries... I never heard of not using both at the same time. When I can be arsed to eat eggs, they need salt & pepper.

I only put pepper on precisely one thing. But I haven't used regular salt in a shaker in more than a decade.

I DO use onion salt, but I only use that on a single thing as well.
