I envision it as a sort of domino effect.

See the thing is, if he isn't banned on any social media platforms, then there's no scrutiny of companies who have not banned him. They are all on equal footing.

But if one platform bans him, suddenly all eyes are on the other platforms, wondering why they still find him acceptable. Inaction comes across as them condoning his behavior.

I'm not a fan of that shitty website or Jones...but what precedent does this set? That's what scares me. We should be leaving any form of media consumption up to the consumer. If said consumer, decides to break the law - BECAUSE of Jones' videos, then that's their own fault. It's not like his videos are being blamed for outbreaks of violence. I mean, maybe I'm wrong: I hear the name "Alex Jones" and immediately think of conspiracy theories and aliens. I don't listen to his podcasts or radio show or whatever. Maybe he incites violence? I have no friggin idea.

And now they're trying to block discussion that opposes global warming. These companies that have a monopoly over social networking are really abusing their power, here. Who are people harming if they speak out against global warming? I don't understand that.

I'm afraid of the slippery slope here. It may start out with Alex Jones, but end up censoring more normal conservative views. I've already seen tweets from people that want them to continue doing this to more people.

And then, to remain consistent, does the left now agree with Christian bakeries? We need a consistent rule, here.

If private companies are allowed to pick and choose their customers or what they want on their websites, we need to be consistent.

Noah Pozner died in the Sandy Hook shooting and they literally had an open casket funeral.
