23 y/o Bridget Woodson, a former employee at an Indiana animal shelter is blowing the whistle on the business as they are being investigated for telling employees to FREEZE cats to death rather than having them put down by a VET!!

She said her boss at Spencer County Animal Shelter twice instructed to put sick cats in a freezer but she refused and took them to a vet to be humanely put down instead.

Animal Control Officer Christian Payne replied over text to her concerns by arguing freezing cats to death was "no less humane" than taking them to a vet

Bridget said she was SICK to her stomach who told the media "She instructed me to go ahead and put it in the trash bag you know that's asigned to it's specific colour and then just put it into the freezer. I told her it ws alive. I told her it was up and moving"

Payne realized she was uncomfortabale with the option so she told her to bring it somewhere else to get it killed then of which she did.

After that, she texted her with "Hey, i took the sick cat to the vet and had it put down. You can take the cost out of my pay cheque if that's a problem. I will not be putting live animals in the freezer if there's another option available, please don't ask me to do that again"..

Payne said "That's fine, but so you know, the freezer option is no less humane. It's fine though, Bridge. i'm here for all my employees. Always"

When Bridget reported her to the board, they ignored her so she resigned and blew the whistle on them.

The method is not allowed under American Vetinary Medical Association guidelines for euthanasia and can only be carried out by qualified vets.

More witnesses have come forward about freezer deaths as one said they were told to put live animals into the freezer to kill them AT THE SAME TIME!

The veterinary office has not responded to dailymail for an answer

I'm confused about this line.

So it is ok?
