24 y/o Whacko, David Skalla from Pennsylvania is charged with MURDER after he heard 16 y/o Blake Shearer playing loud music with PROFANITY and he did not find it appropriate and BEAT him to death!!

He punched him in the face 4 times in Elizabethtown Borough Park in the afternoon as Blake was with friends with the park playing rap music that contained profanities and David was offended he was playing music with swear words in them and SINGING along to it!!

Blake was with his g/f and 2 friends when David came up to them and said that music was not appropriate for young kids AND THEMSELVES to play and after some words were echanged, David flipped his lid and punched him several times as Blake made no attempt to defend himself!!

He collapsed to the ground after the first punch as David kept punching him. He was transported to hospital where he died of his injuries to his head and brain 5 days later in a coma..

David ran with his family and into his g/f's car as the kids with Blake took pictures of him while he fled.

Friends said David "blacked out" during the deadly altercation.

Blake lived with his mother and stepfather and was going to enter junior year at Elizabethtown Area High School. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Would you ever tell a stranger to NOT listen to certain music because it is "inappropriate" for them?

I don't condone his actions however he has a point here. If you're playing music in public and at a park no less then you should have some respect for others around you and play something that doesn't have swearing in it. I find folk who play music loud so everyone can hear it(outside of places you would expect it) to be irksome though. Most folk don't want to hear that shit. Also I can guarantee the kid who was killed provoked this guy when he asked them to stop.

Hopefully his friends will make it out of the hood, and make their own rap songs in remembrance. Circle of life.

The kids were being rude and I don't think it is unreasonable to ask people to be a little more considerate. I do think it is unreasonable to start screaming let alone to throw blows. That guy was clearly the bigger threat to society...

This. If only people had just one bit of good sense in them. Every time I hear someone listening to music in public, and worse, in a place where you just can't avoid, it makes me want to play my beloved heavy metal twice as louder in their face to see if they like it. Same with those cars filled with amplifiers. But beating someone over this is ridiculously laughable to say the least.

People look for reasons to beat peoples asses if the other person is physically weaker than them.
