CBS All Access has unveiled it's new SPOCK..and he will be played by 32 y/o Ethan Peck as showrunner Alex Kurtzman said they searched for months for ana ctor who would do Leonard Nimony and Zachary Quinto justice in his interpretation.

He said "Ethan walked into the room inhabiting all of these qualities, aware of his daunting responsibility to Leonard, Zach and the fans and ready to confront the challenge in the service of protecting and expanding on Spock's legacy"

Ethan said he was gracious for the opportunity and thanks Nimoy's family and called the iconic elf character a "great honour" as he knows the immense responsibility it is to play him.

The NYU Tisch drop out's biggest claim to fame is being the grandson of Hollywood Legend Gregory Peck and the son of Stephen Peck.

Ethan will be heading to Toronto to shoot Season 2 along with Star Trek Next Generation's return of CAPTAIN PICARD played by original cast member, Patrick Stewart. The show is headed by Michael Burman played by Walking Dead's Sonnequa Martin Green as the first season was heralded by critics but got a mixed response from viewers..
