Like why would you spend so many hours playing a game to exploit glitches over and over to get a world record that nobody except neckbeards will even care about.

If a speedruns is over a minute it's not a speedruns. Wrong warp to credits in 10 seconds or try again sweetie

I really like that World Record Progression series on YouTube that looks at the history of the world record for a game and how new breakthroughs in glitches and stuff changed it over time.
