Lon'qu's refine is better than I hoped for. The offensive stats are extremely appreciated and the defensive nerfs don't matter very much because his HP pool is naturally very high.

So in the end I didn't take my own advice and used every orb I could get my hands on this month on the Nohrian Dusk banner in a quest for Ophelias, other than brief dalliances on some other banners which got me a Lewyn (for Special Spiral), a Laevatein and an attempt to get L!Tiki that ended after pulling three Micaiahs (I could take the hint).

In the end, my sum total was:

1 Hinoka
1 Linde
1 Morgan (f)
1 Flora
1 Nina
2 Brave Hectors
3 Ophelias
7 Silas'

...Part of me knows I probably should have expected this to happen, but I guess there are worse characters than Silas to unintentionally +10 (which I may as well do at this point, assuming he demotes).

well i got a Kagero from the new banner... a 4* colorless one. my 9th and still none of them are +spd and my only +atk is -spd. none of them are even -def.

also i finally got Ishtar, but she was -atk. i was annoyed enough that i just wanted to dump my last 10 orbs after that and got somehow got another one that's basically neutral (+def -HP). so that's cool.

It took 437 Orbs to get Myrrh and Mia. That kinda stung but it also makes me glad I always play with very high safety margins so I don't have to worry about completely whiffing on getting the characters I want.

Fury3 and Desperation3 are both only available to one summonable character, but I've never really had a problem with getting Hinata's, but Shanna's are always so rare. Don't get it at all. Would be nice if they finally make these skills more available

Fury3 is also on Fallen Takumi at least. With Desperation if you don't have Shanna you're gonna be burning 20k feathers.

I haven't gotten a Shanna in forever so yeah I'd be all for her being next, although I wish the had a less goofy way of giving these characters out. Oh well, gift horses and all that.

New Powers banner was nice to me. Got a off banner Hardin(in only 5 orbs), desperation fodder(Been short for ages) and a new Tana! (+Atk/-Def compared to my old +Hp/-Def one)

Still in the 200+ orb range so that's pretty neat. I'll probably go with her Eff refine since I'm prone to favor Mixed teams.

Got a free Quan from today's new banner. He's neutral, so there's nothing wrong with him, but he may still end up as SI fodder given the +6 Silas in the room.

Up to 4.25% and still no Myrrh.... Basically waiting each day to get enough orbs to do a summoning. Struggle is real

I may be fully done soon. The amount of free orbs you get from just login and half assing stuff is too low to draw much and if I can't draw much what am I still even half playing for. I never fully absorbed how demanding this game was on orbs-- you just get a lot of flow of orbs in and out.

You used to be able to skip banners and save up a ton of orbs, but that is no longer possible with how much bait there is these days, and I don't have the time to go through all the free content to harvest more orbs, so yea, who knows how much longer I'll be playing this. I just want to hold out as long as possible to see some of my faves make it in

It's a combination of bait banners and the banners lasting for so long. How many month long banners have we had all in a row? Some of them not being seasonals. Hell Performing Arts is JUST finally about to end,and Muspell still has 4 days despite it essentially being pointless now(lol 170 BST).

I'm lucky that Tana was the only one who really tempted me(and I pulled her before too long).

In other news, I free pulled Myrrh in the BHB banner! (+Atk/-Res)

i've had some crazy luck lately. got all 3 girls from the Halloween banner without spending very much, plus two Amelias along the way (who i didn't have before, and got the same nature for both, +atk -res). plus Quan free pull from one of the other banners. though Mia, Kagero and Quan are all -atk <_<

I sunk about 90 orbs into the Halloween banner and only got Jaffar. It's not hard to save orbs unless you're baited out by each shiny new armor they release. I'm back above 1100 again

The Halloween banner was very stingy with me. It took until 4% and 4.75% pity rates to pay out the two 5*s it gave me, although they were a +Atk -Spd Myrrh and +Atk -HP Kagero so at least they were worth it (shame about the superbane dropping Kagero a BST tier though).

Now begins my great orb spending abstention. Hopefully I can resist until Ophelia reappears, although a really nice seasonal and/or something like a Nohrian Noble Corrin (f) alt might make that difficult!
