This is exactly why you don't just insult others for no reason to create a situation/escalation. Getting told to basically mind your language and act a bit more professional is harmless and probably a good tip, especially if you're going to somewhere that should be holding a level of respect/professionallism such as NASA. Instead they lashed out, paid the price for it. It's not Hickam's fault, he even tried to repair damage and assist in something he didn't have to do. Instead gets harassed and whatnot for it like he's the sole reason/cause. I bet they're sitting there wondering why no one respects them or why they drive others away. Probably not the first time either. I guess the only plus here is they're sticking up for each other, but not sure if this was the greatest showcase of such.
