I'm probably part of a very small minority that absolutely adores this game. In fact, I actually like its gameplay more than that of the original Banjo games.

That said, however, I also think it shouldn't have had the Banjo name attached to it. The old Banjo games (or at least Kazooie, haven't played Tooie yet) had a certain charm to them that this game lacks. And changing the whole formula of a series? Typically not a smart move. I think this game would've been far better received if it had an new, individual IP attached instead of Banjo-Kazooie.

My personal thing is that while I LOVE the concept of collectathons, I tend to not like how they're executed, it just gets too tedious after a while IMO. That's why I love the vehicle-based gameplay better, especially since you can do a LOT with the vehicle creator. But I can also see why a lot of people don't like it.

The music is pretty good, but it's no better or worse than B-K or Tooie, since it's got the same guy working on it.

Also Grunty rhymes again and I don't know why they removed that in Tooie but that's at least SOMETHING they got right in N&B.
