I just wish we could reach a point where topless is not treated like a big deal. People on this board and many people outside act like it's something weird or uncomfortable, I don't understand why. Many European countries aren't like this.

It's because the Europeans are more liberal about sex then many other countries. It's going to take time to get the US to that point.

I bought an art magazine from France and had it imported and it actually showed full nude art models with no cropping or blurring (which I didn't expect).

Even lowering the Age of Consent nationally shouldn't be a problem.

Even Russia isn't that disapproving of nudity. If you look at photos or videos of the art schools, you actually see the art models uncensored quite often. You rarely see that in the U.S.

B) Those laws aren't everywhere and many areas have had those laws repealed to be inline with national laws

Yes. There's a lot of older Asian men who go to these outdoor nude and topless events as photographers and are shoving everyone over to get footage, but they do upload the videos on Youtube pretty rapidly. There's about 7 or 8 videos on Youtube already. I uploaded a few pictures to my Flickr. There were some women that were decent looking, but it's surprising that more people don't participate in it (though you can understand why based upon the discussion above).

I would say that most of the other guys (and women, there were several female photographers too) were well composed. Only a few guys (passersby) made comments about attractiveness.

Even one of the female marchers wrote online that she felt safer this year than in any prior year, so she thought that the people were fine.

My main purpose was to record events in NYC because often it was hard to find photos or footage online, but now it seems that several people go to post 100s of photos and also video online.

My next event is New York Comic Con, so I will be posting a lot of photos from that.

What makes them creepers? It sounds like more of an assumption of how people might conduct themselves. As stated, the majority of people there were well composed. Aside from a few guys talking about which of the women were attractive, it didn't really seem like people were salivating. The whole point of the event (and other similar ones) is to attract attention, so people are supposed to take photos. I posted a picture from the Bodypainting event and the person in the photo found it and literally told me to tag her on it.

There's huge police presence and barricades so the people couldn't really do anything.

Also, these same guys who would be creepers would act lecherous towards women even if they are clothed. I've seen it myself pretty often in NYC and my sister says it happens to her quite a bit...she even has stalkers apparently.

Her CONSENTING to doing a scene with someone is different than her going topless on the street and some random guy going "SHE WANTED IT BRO!" after getting himself a grope & feel.

The whole point is to see breasts in a context outside of sex or porn, which is rare outside of events like these, so the entire purpose is for it to be recorded and to raise awareness. That's why they had about a dozen photographers and videographers at the front of the parade procession to record it, and why the people participating in these events post images of the events on their social media and ask you to tag them if you post an image. There were also many women taking pictures as well, so you characterizing everyone as perverts lusting over the women is not very accurate.

There's a popular female topless NYC book reading group that has a website where they post photos of them being topless all around NYC every week or so. It's been going on for 4-5 years but I don't recall them writing about random guys trying to grope them and hardly see anything about guys leering too much. I know some of the women in it so I can ask them directly if you want.

It's clear that you find the idea of nudity weird though and that's the mentality that events like these are trying to combat.
